COMMUNITY  LIFE

Our Enriching Community Life (ECL) Program provides a wide range of life experiences and activities that are available within the community. This program is funded by Community Mental Health and encourages community inclusion, greater independence and self-reliance, and increased self-esteem. Specific sessions are developed and offered according to participant needs and interests as identified in the Person-Centered Planning process.

 

Services are offered Monday through Friday from 9am-3:30pm. Some of the sessions offered include Bowling, Swimming, YMCA Fitness, Pottery, Art, Self Advocacy, Cooking, Theatre, Sign Language, Crafts, Computers and more. Our Life Based Program offers community activities in the evenings and on weekends. This program has a monthly calendar that is distributed to individuals who are authorized for the service.

 

 

 

We have a highly experienced and qualified staff along with a fleet of 20 vehicles available to provide services throughout St. Clair County. Bluewater Area Transit offers door to door service from home to program on a daily basis.
